The wonderful Róisín Murphy presents her first full-lenght project "Rósín Machine" after the 2015 Mercury Prize nominated "Hairless Toys" and the equally celebrated "Take Her Up To Monto", which followed a year later. "Rósín Machine" represents the culmination of a fruitful partnership between Murphy and one of her closest confidants, Crooked Man aka DJ Parrot, that lasted for decades. Although the album with the tracks "Simulation", "Jealousy", "Incapable", "Narcissus" and "Murphy's Law" contains a lot of masterly singles, the longplayer on the other hand is a well thought-out and seamless listening experience that can be enjoyed from the beginning to the dazzling end in one piece

On "Rósín Machine", Róisín Murphy presents a multi-faceted palette of her excellent skills - from the infectious disco funk of "Incapable", to the perfect, New Disco-influenced "Narcissus", with which Murphy raises the bar for the genre a whole lot higher, to the 70s-inspired catchy tune "Murphy's Law". In addition to the well-known tunes, there are five new songs, including the robotic-funky "We Got Together" and the great "Shellfish Mademoiselle"
